Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:
- Chattanooga’s free tree program has gotten renewed funding. This project will help the environment and even improve some property values. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- Tennessee is now letting teenagers take the written portion of the driver’s license tests online. This initiative will definitely help to alleviate those long waits at the Driver Service Centers. And while this may worry some of you who are already out there on the road, there’s even safeguards in place to prevent cheating, not to mention the actual driving test. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- Repair work is set to begin soon at an Ooltewah park that was used to hold tornado debris. After multiple concerns were raised to the Hamilton County Commissioners about the state of the fields, the project is being set in motion to fix them up so that kids will have a space to play again. (WTVC)
