Patricia Ann Whitmill
Patricia Ann Whitmill, 89, of Collegedale, Tennessee, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2022, at home with her children by her side. She is asleep in Jesus, along with her late beloved husband, Robert Whitmill, waiting for the voice of their Lord and Savior to call them home.
She was a member of Standifer Gap SDA.
Patricia was born on May 10, 1933, in Washington D.C. She was adopted by loving parents Robert and Florence (Hottess) Wheeler. She was raised with two sisters, Lois (Wheeler) Wilson and Ester Marie (Wheeler) Shumate, both deceased.
In 1968 she moved with her three children to Collegedale, Tn., where she met and married Robert Whitmill. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Robert Whitmill; grandson, Christopher Padgett; and step-son, Tim Whitmill.
She is survived by her children, Jim (Dawn) Sisson, Remington, Va.; Cindy (Vernon) Sutton, Ooltewah; Kym Danier, Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Dec. 26, at 6:30 at Heritage Funeral Home.
A private interment will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maranatha Volunteers International.
