Beverly Dawn Miller
Beverly Dawn Miller, 79, met her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
She was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church and a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Miller was beloved by her family and community for her lively sense of humor, generosity, and devotion to her family. Her loving, jovial nature will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Miller; mother, Thelma Spencer; and sister, Patricia Judy.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (Wayne) Saunders; son, Michael (Susan) Miller; sister, Barbara (Don) Brewer; twin brother, David (Amy) Judy; grandchildren, Phillip (Tamara) Langston, Jr., Michael (Colyer) Miller, Jr., Lauren (Keith) Huckabee, and Jenna Miller; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 9 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. James Langston officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Willis Shankles officiating and Phillip Langston, Jr., Michael Miller, Jr., Keith Huckabee, Josiah Langston, Kevin O’Malley, and Wayne Saunders serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, Ga.
