James Ladimore Trotter, Jr. of Chattanooga graduated to heaven on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

James’ love for the Lord kept him active as the chaplain at Catoosa County Jail. As one of the founders of Anchored in the Rock Ministries, he was often seen flying by on his Harley racing to his preaching appointments or to help someone.James started serving the Lord as a children’s and youth pastor at Tri County Baptist and Fellowship Baptist Church.Most recently, he served as the Youth Pastor at Moriah Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe. James was also a member of Soul Seeker Motorcycle Ministry and took every advantage to make sure that anyone he encountered learned about the Gospel. He graduated from Unity Christian School in 1984.

James was preceded in death by his dad, James L. Trotter, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Michele (Grubb) Trotter; his two children, Zachary (Rebecca) Trotter and Alicia (David) Burkhart; his mother, Susan Trotter; brother, Charles (Kim) Trotter; sister, Nancy (David) Saldana; four grandchildren, three nieces & nephews.

Join us to celebrate James’ life and graduation at Moriah Baptist Church, Fort Oglethorpe. Visitation is on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4-7 p.m. Pastor Randy Lynn will conduct the service on Friday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. in the church.
