Jeanette J. Willingham
Jeanette J. Willingham, 77, passed away on March 12, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1945, in Gainesville, Ga. Jeanette worked as a school patrol officer for over 30 years and with the Walden Security Company. She was a faithful member of Greater Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and chaired the Women’s Day celebration for several years. Jeanette loved shopping. Buying hats was one of her greatest pleasures.
She was predeceased by her mother, Ruby Clay; daughter, Carmen Renee Knowles; husband, Clarence Willingham.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, two daughters, Jacqueline Candie Pinckney and Keisha King; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, followed immediately by a funeral service in the Chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
