Kenneth Edward “Ed” Leach passed away, surrounded by his loving family March 13, 2023.

He retired from Bellsouth/AT&T after over 30 years and was a Vietnam veteran who served four years in the Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting collecting many accolades over the years. He was a talented woodworker who hand crafted custom turkey calls and furnishings.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Helen Leach.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years and high school sweetheart, Amelia Ealy Leach; two children, Kerry (Troy) Dayhuff and Kenneth E. (Robin) Leach Jr.; five granddaughters: Kandis (Douglas) Fehrmann, Ryann (Connor) Davidson, Kayla Leach, Kassy Leach, and Lili Oren; two grandsons, Austin and Patch Williams; three step-granddaughters, Alex and Zoe Dayhuff and Shelby (Thomas) Calhoun; two great-grandchildren, Chandler and Trey Fehrmann. He is also survived by his sisters; Angie (John) Ballew of Birmingham, Al. and Carol (Jay) Johnson of Hixson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. A private graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
