She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Parks; brother, Kenneth Parks; uncle, Buddy Sweet; Aunt Muffie; and cousin, Osha.
She is survived by her mother, Judy B. Parks; son, Tyrezz Parks; daughters, Destiny Parks, Amira Moore and Tanaisa Welcher; siblings, Desmond Benton, Kimika Bryant, Courtney Neal, Armon Tibbs, Yolanda Cummings, Brandon Whaley, Keiosha Bunion, Tyra Jarrett, Cassidy Benton and Corey Neal; grandchildren, Josian Parks and Joel Parks; special friends, Devonna (Jue) King, Stacy Dodd, Latrice Whaley, Deloria Whaley, Cretia Welch, Jackie Welch, Yagunda Clark, Tiffany Wood and Mryra Looney; Uncle Twin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home at 5 p.m.
