Emma Adelle Arrington
Emma Adelle Arrington, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Jake Marvin Shields and Lucy Allene Ellis and was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Scott.
Emma attended Grove Level Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Greg Arrington; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Sam Burton; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Pierre Turpeau; grandchildren, Kate Burton, Chase Burton and Joseph and Christan Locke; special aunt, Peggy Headrick; special friend, Jeanette Bass; and extended family also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral time at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
