Virginia R. Leffew Goff
Virginia R. Leffew Goff, 81, of Rock Spring, Georgia, formerly of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
She was a native of Dayton, Tennessee, graduated from Ooltewah High School, and lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. Mrs. Goff was a member of the True Life Church in East Ridge and had worked many years in the textile industry. Mrs. Goff was a caring lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She had a wonderful sense of humor, pink was her favorite color, she enjoyed reading and working jigsaw puzzles, and she loved teddy bears and shopping. Mrs. Goff was a TN Vol fan, she enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, and loved her yorkies, Beyonce and Apollo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Goff; children, Douglas W. Goff, and Nora Goff; grandson, Michael Goff; brothers, Robert J. Leffew, Ray Leffew, and Rev. Carlos Leffew; and sister, Lorena Sneed.
Survivors include four children, Carol D. Whitener, Scott (Susan) Goff, Linda D. (Scott) Grizzle, and Dona Goff; two sisters, Roberta Singleton, and Betty Biddle; nine grandchildren, Scott Goff, Kristen Goff, Jacob Whitener, Brandi Goff, Hannah Goff, Chris Jones, Jared Bennett, Chris Ridge, and Crystal Ridge; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Danny Lance officiating. In memory of Mrs. Goff, please wear pink to her funeral if possible.
Interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, June 19, at 12:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, Ga.
