John "Jay" Rennolds

John “Jay” Rennolds

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John “Jay” Rennolds on May 7, 2023.

Born on June 27, 1974, John was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and step-father. Though he mostly went by John, he was lovingly known as “Crazy Jay Jay” to close friends and family. He is joined in heaven by his beloved wife, Amanda Rennolds, who he married in 2018.

John was a proud graduate of Red Bank High School in 1993, located on Morrison Springs Road, Red Bank. He possessed a big heart and a warm, witty, and funny personality that endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him. A passionate sports enthusiast, John was particularly dedicated to the Michigan Wolverines.

In addition to his late wife, John is survived by a close-knit family, including his mother, Eileen Hillier; step-father, Brian Hillier; father, John Rennolds; brother, Robert Rennolds; sister, Kelly Baker; sister-in-law, Heather Rennolds; nieces, Truely Cervanac, Paige Watson, Bella Baker, Maris Rennolds and Azlyn Rennolds; nephews, Dustin Watson, Maddox Vandergriff, Cole Rennolds and Elijah Rennolds; great-nephew, Carson Hudson; great-niece, Chloe Congdon; step-son, Hunter McClure and goddaughters, Kaelyn Baldwin and Zoey Baldwin.

We invite friends, family, and those who knew and loved John to join us in celebrating his life visitation and the cherished memories he has left behind (date and time pending). John’s kind spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing their lives with him. Rest in peace, John Rennolds.
