Virginia Reynolds “Jinny” Cross
Virginia Reynolds “Jinny” Cross, 98, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023.
Mrs. Cross was born in Endicott, NY, on August 24, 1924, the daughter of the late Edwin Cook Reynolds and Lilian May Bulfinch. She was a member of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church and was devoted to reading her Bible every day. Mrs. Cross was a wonderful hostess and an excellent cook. She was a talented pianist and organist. Mrs. Cross enjoyed family game time and loved animals.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her husband, Chaplain Colonel Howard Theodore Cross, Sr.; son, Howard Theodore Cross, Jr.; and a brother, Wilson Thomas Reynolds.
Survivors include her two nieces, Sandra Reynolds Harper and Dr. Robbie Sherrill (Lindell) and a nephew, Phillip Dunn Reynolds (Julie). Also, several great-nieces and great-nephews survive.
There will be no service, in honor of Mrs. Cross’ wishes.
