Beulah Mae Crockett Penn
Beulah Mae Crockett Penn, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the age of 90.
She loved people and never met a stranger. Beulah enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading, word search puzzles, cooking, and loved working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Irene Hale and Othopolis Pickett; son, Glenn Crockett; great-grandson, Malik Sawyer.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Samuel Crockett, Jr. (Renee), Patricia Lawson, Wilma Crockett, and Eva Hunter all of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; very devoted and good friends, Annie Pearl Nord, Mable Reid, and Buel Walker; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home.
A noon funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24, in the Chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
