Adams, Janice Kay Turner – The Chattanoogan

Janice Kay Turner Adams, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2022.

She was born and raised in North Chattanooga and attended Chattanooga High School. She was employed by 3M Co, Selox, Brooks Welding, and Adams Motor Sports. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Her dedication to her family was immeasurable and she loved life. Her husband, son, and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Dorothy Turner, her father and mother-in-law, John H. and Eulah Adams, and niece, Cathy Lewis.

Survivors include husband of 56 years, Ronnie  Adams, Sr.; son, Ronnie (Heather) Adams, Jr.; grandchildren, Emma and Drew Adams; brother, Thomas L. (Anne) Turner; sisters, Linda Russell and Connie Ferguson, brother in-laws, Jerry (Jean) Adams, Terry (Vivian) Adams,  aunt, Jo Murray, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank a special cousin and friend, Pam Whitfield for her love, kindness and dedicated care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home on Hixson Pike with Brother Richard Floyd officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
