Theresa Elizabeth Stewart Alder
Theresa Elizabeth Stewart Alder, 99, was called home on August 6, 2023.
A railroad retiree and travel enthusiast, Elizabeth will be dearly missed for her love of stories, devotion to her family, and sharp sense of humor.
She is survived by beloved daughter, Jamie Elizabeth son-in-law, Brad Mofsky, of Chattanooga, and many extended family, including special cousins, Margaret Gaither and Gavin Kane.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Barry Hildebrandt officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the employees of Alexian Brothers PACE and the Health Center of Standifer Place for their compassion and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.
