Estella “Della” Clemons
Estella “Della” Clemons, 79, passed away on March 10, 2023 in Chattanooga.
She was born on May 12,1943, in Huntsville, Al., to the late Eli Clemons and Rosie Mae Clemons.
Estella was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Mae Clemons and Bernice (Louis) Pickett; one brother, Roland Clemons.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons, Freeman Sales and Lloyd Sales; two daughters, Gloria Sales and Shirley Sales; three brothers, Emanuel Clemons, Ernest Clemons and Jacob Clemons; two sisters, Ernestine Tony and Flora Clemons; fiancé Charles Smith; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, followed immediately by a 1 p.m. funeral service in the Chapel of John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
