Barbara Colbaugh
Barbara Allene Colbaugh age 78, of Decatur gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home in the Shiloh community.
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was a foster mother for over 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Ruby McKeehan Gable, husband: the Rev. Carl Taylor Colbaugh.
She is survived by her children: Teddy Colbaugh (Carol Ann), Carl Colbaugh (Tonya), Barbara Benton (Randy), brothers: Danny Gable (Debbie), Mike Gable, sisters: Betty Smith, Connie Gable, grandchildren: Haley Skidmore (Kasey), Austin Colbaugh (Amber), Sage Colbaugh ( Devin), Justin Colbaugh (Christina), Derek Colbaugh (Delinda) Darcy Million (Nick), Nicholas Benton (Rhonda), Tia Musnicki, Nash Benton, Ryan Aikman, Colby Oliver, great grandchildren: Zeke, Anaiah, Bentley, Mia, Anna, Caroline, Jack, Asher, Skylar, London, and a host of extended family and friends also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Eric Geren officiating.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.
