Kevin DeWayne Knox Daniel, Sr., 39, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
He attended City High School and was formerly employed by Gestamp.
Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Kevin DeWayne Daniel, Jr.; brother, LaDarius Daniel; grandparents, Roosevelt Knox, Sr. and Jewell Knox, Charlie Daniel, Sr.; aunts, Robin Daniel England and Gloria Jones; uncle, Roosevelt Knox, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Dyea Reese Daniel; sons, Colby Daniel, Keyvon Daniel, and Michael Cook; daughter, Ariah Daniel; six grandchildren; father, Charlie (Lisa) Daniel, Jr.; mother, Felecia Knox; grandmother, Lori “Betty” Daniel; brothers, Jerrod Bibbs, Quinton Daniel, Demetrius Daniel, Morterrius Daniel, all of Chattanooga, and Dontrell Reese of Eatonton, GA; sisters, Krystal Daniel of St. Petersburg, FL, Jasmine Daniel of Eatonton, GA, and Charmaine Gresham of St. Petersburg, FL; uncles, Anthony (Lolita) Knox of Nashville, TN and Anthony Tony Daniel of Chattanooga; aunts, Virginia Jarrett, Zandra Daniel, and Angela Dews; stepfather, Luther Bibbs; stepmother, Lawanda Reese; mother-in-law, Iris Rogers; sisters-in-law, Ariel Lawrence and Dorothy Garner, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; best friend, Jarvis Strickland and many other friends.
Kevin will lie in state on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at noon in the chapel with Minister James Talley as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
