Development Director Dan Saieed is retiring after 46 years with Hamilton County.
County Mayor Jim Coppinger said Mr. Saieed has been able to secure a long list of grants for the county, including many to build the popular Riverwalk.
He has served as county development director since 1982.
Mr. Saieed gained a master’s degree from UTC in 1986 in industrial and organizational psychology.
