Nathan Gannaway
Nathan Miles Gannaway, born on January 29, 1997, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2023. He was 26 years old.
Nathan grew up on Signal Mountain and played baseball, football and was on the wrestling team. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Gannaway, brother Conner Gannaway, daughter, Amara Gannaway, grandparents, Harold and Gloria Gannaway and Harvey and Linda Smith.
He is survived by his mother Janet Gannaway, wife Katherine Gannaway and twin daughters Amelia and Madeline, uncles and aunts Doug and Leigh Anne Cook, Marty and Linda Clowers, Harvey Smith Jr, Karl and Joy Douglas, cousins Krider and Miles Cook, Debra Maynor, Thomas and Kyle Douglas, John and Corey Smith, and special friend Kailyn Basham along with many others who loved Nathan and will miss his smile and laughter.
A memorial service for Nathan will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 11 a.m. at Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church, 7247 Sawyer Road, Signal Mountain, with Reverend Larry Miller officiating.
