Kenneth Lebron Gilbert, 52, a cherished resident of Chattanooga, passed away on August 1, 2023, at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1971 in Chattanooga to his loving parents, John and Francis (Mills) Gilbert.
Kenneth was a man who found joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for tending to lawns, landscaping and caring for his garden. Spending time by the water, he loved the peacefulness of fishing, and embraced the challenge of working on cars and house repairs. Kenneth was a people person, always appreciating the company of his friends, and his warm and inviting nature made him someone that others truly enjoyed being around.
He is survived by his brother, John W. Gilbert, Jr., who shared a special bond with Kenneth and stood by his side through thick and thin.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved son, Aubree T. Gilbert, and his parents, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga Chapel, where friends and family will gather to pay their last respects and bid farewell to a dear soul who brightened the lives of many.
