Stephanie Linger
Stephanie K. Linger, 31, of Spring City, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born to the late Beverly Miller on Dec. 6, 1991. Stephanie was a graduate of Rhea County High School Class of 2010. There, she was very active all four years in R.O. T.C. Stephanie worked at various jobs in her career before becoming a full time wife and mother. She enjoyed watching movies, “The Golden Girls” and various crime shows. Stephanie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Decatur.
Stephanie was also preceded in death by her infant brother Daniel Wayne Miller.
Survivors include her husband Joshua Linger of Spring City, her daughter Bailee Linger of Spring City, her brother Justin Miller of Denver, CO, her custodial parents Kathy and Danny Creason of Dayton, TN and her grandparents Junior and Shirley Miller of Spring City.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Mooneyham officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. The family will receives friends Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vaughn Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
