Joanna Rebecca Martin
Joanna Rebecca Martin, 44, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Joanna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Pauline Palmer; paternal grandparents, Hilton and Doris Sanders; and her uncle, Gregg Palmer.
Joanna was a 1997 graduated of Cleveland High School and she also attended Lee University. She was known for her care giving, working with the elderly and children. She was artistic, an animal lover and she loved music. Joanna was a Christian and she had a personal relationship with the Lord.
Survivors include her daughter, Abby Martin of Gainesville, Georgia; mother, Rebecca Palmer, Cleveland; father, William Sanders, Gainesville, Georgia; sister, Candice Hornsby (Billy), Jacksonville, Florida; niece, Lexie Hornsby, Jacksonville, Florida; aunt, Brenda Tippens (Denman), St. Petersburg, Florida; uncle, Dennis Palmer (Sandy), Palm Harbor, Florida; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend James Hawkins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
