James Moore
James Calvin Moore, Sr., 77, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his residence.
He retired from Moccasin Bend as a custodian.
He was preceded in death by father, Hercules Moore; mother, Mamie Lou Moore; brother, Roger Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Veronica Moore; son, James Calvin Moore, Jr., of Chattanooga; brothers, Hercules (Charolette) Moore, Jr and Ernest Lee Moore, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Gloria Triplett, Alberta Cantrell, both of Chattanooga, and Glenda Moore Rivera of Killeen, Tx.; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
James will lie in state on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
