Scott Moss
Scott Moss, age 60, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby S. Moss and brother, Lowell W. “Sonny” Moss III.
Scott loved hunting, fishing, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and loved life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda White Moss; daughter, Macy Moss of Winchester, TN; sons, Brady Moss of Winchester, TN, Kale Goodwin and Kaden Goodwin, both of Dalton; father and step-mother, Lowell “Buddy” and Beth Moss of Dalton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Franklin, Jr and Faye White; best friend, Charles “Bit” Parrish.
The funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Charles “Bit” Parrish officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 p.m. until the service time at 3 p.m.
Burial will follow at United Memorial Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contribution may be made to Salem Baptist Church.
