James Edward Harrison “Nick” Patterson, 64, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday morning, March 2, 2023 at AdventHealth Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Georgia.
Nick was born on October 31, 1958 in Union County, Georgia, a son of the late Otis L. and Grace Norton Patterson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Patterson Buttrum, and brothers, C.J. Patterson and Otis Phillip Patterson.
Nick is survived by his wife, Charlotte Allen Patterson of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Lois and Randall Hunter, and Denise Patterson all of Fairmount; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Beth Patterson of Tunnel Hill, Douglas Patterson of Calhoun, Randy and Brandy Patterson of Rome, Ga.; uncles and aunts, Albert and Janice Norton of Blairsville, Ga., Jim and Hilda Norton, Frank Patterson, Donnie Norton, Wanda and Jerry Cole, Barbara Patterson all of Blue Ridge, Ga., Jerry Norton of Ellijay, Ga., and Jess Norton of Tunnel Hill; several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Nick Patterson will be held on Tuesday, March 7, at 4 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Reverend Reggie Temples officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday until the service hour.
