
Donald Leon Runyan
Donald Leon Runyan, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Donnie was a contractor and architectural designer for most of his life.
He held membership at Brainerd Presbyterian Church where he formerly served as a deacon.
He was a lifetime member of Harrison Masonic Lodge and the Alhambra Shrine Temple.
Donnie was an avid softball and TN Vols fan. He loved rock and roll music and had played drums in a band for several years.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather and always enjoyed sharing in his grandchildren’s activities.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Runyan; daughter, Lacey (Steve) Cordell, Ringgold; son, Damon (Ginny) Runyan, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Kensley and Jace Cordell; Lily and Adi Rey Runyan.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jeremy Cain officiating.
