James Russell
James Cecil Russell, 77, of Graysville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at his residence.
A longtime resident of Graysville, Mr. Russell retired from Candlewick after 40 years of service.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his brother, John Charles Russell.
Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Viola Russell and his son, J. Timothy A. Russell; grandson, Charles Cecil Russell, all of Graysville, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 24, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Graysville Cemetery with military honors.
