Judith “Judy” Dabbs Smith
Judith “Judy” Dabbs Smith, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Judy enjoyed reading, gardening, and decorating, but her greatest joy was spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus T. and Kathleen Ruth Price Dabbs as well as her sister, Frances Dabbs Estes .
Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, of 56 years, Robert “Bobby” King Smith III; sons, Robby (Tracy) Smith, Ricky Smith, and Danny (Christy) Smith; grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Chandler, Caleb, Caitlyn, Will and Haley Smith; sister, Sandy (Don) Nelson; two nieces; one nephew; several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 30, from 5-6 p.m. in the Holy Family Hall at OLPH Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 6 p.m. with Father Mike Nolan officiating.
The family asks for any donations to go to Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library (East Gate Branch).
