Robert “Bobby” King Smith
Robert “Bobby” King Smith, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Bobby was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He served in the National Guard and retired from Western Electric/AT&T. He loved watching Tennessee football, fishing, puzzles and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Judith “Judy” Dabbs Smith; his parents, Robert King and Kathline Gang Smith; and his sister Nancy Burke.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robby (Tracy) Smith, Ricky Smith, and Danny (Christy) Smith; grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Chandler, Caleb, Caitlyn, Will and Haley Smith; sister, Katherine Owens; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 5, from 2-3 p.m. in the Holy Family Hall at OLPH Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 3 p.m. with Father Mike Nolan officiating.
