Peggy Thompson
Peggy Jeanne Hill Thompson, 81, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Jasper, Al., on Nov. 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Joseph Edward “Ed” Hill and Annie Pearl “Anna” Hatcher Stephens. She was a graduate of City High School. Mrs. Thompson worked at Women’s Hospital, Dr. Boatwright and Dr. Ramsey’s office, and Chattanooga Skin and Cancer Clinic for many years as a LPN. She enjoyed working in her yard.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Mack Thompson.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Meeks and a daughter, Jennifer Meeks.
Graveside and interment services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
