Mary Ruth Pace West
Mary Ruth Pace West, 92, of Flintstone, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Mary was the daughter of the late Loman and Florence Pace. To many she was known as Ruth, Granny West or simply, Granny. She enjoyed red birds, reading and was proud of her large family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Hershel; sons, Randall and Larry.
Survivors include her children: Hershel (Ronnie) West, Kay (Dan) Cooke, Ron (Karen) West, Janet (Frank) Smith, and Dale (Angie) West; daughter-in-laws, Lisa and Terri; grandchildren: Amanda (Chris) Marshall, Johnathan (Chris) West, Megan (Aaron) Barnes, Mikel (Whitney) Smith, Heather (Lucus) Palmer, Anna, Tyler (Ashley) West, Katie (Drayton) Hales, Kyle (Hailey) West, Ryan, Hunter and Neely Davis; great grandchildren: Ben and Brayden Marshall, Luke and Zachary Barnes, Josie and Penton Smith, Makayla and Aiden Palmer, Elizabeth Fuquea and Briley West, JD Hales, Maci, Madi and Berkley; and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 18, from 1-3 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home in Rossville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 3 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Mikel Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens West, Lookout Valley.
