Warren Joseph White, Sr.
Warren Joseph White, Sr., 94, was a devoted husband, and father and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was a dedicated Christian and active member of St Stephen Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He received a Master’s of Education, emphasis in mathematics from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA. He was teacher and administrator in education for a total of 35 years.
Warren was born on Sept. 23, 1928, in New Orleans, La., to the late Marguerite and Edmond A. White, Sr.
His wife of 69 years, Juanita White and brother, Edmond White, Jr. preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Rosalind (Kenneth, Sr.) Bordere, Warren (Diedri) White, Jr., Denise Trepagnier, Eric White, and Shawn (Blanca) White, Sr.; sister, Cynthia White; his grandchildren, Kenneth Bordere, Jr., Terrance Bordere, Jessica White, Sarah Weber, Abigail White, Blair Trepagnier, Mason Trepagnier, and Shawn White, Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Father Manuel Perez officiating.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2 p.m. with military honors.
