Floyd Whiteside
Pastor Floyd Whiteside, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in a local hospital.
He was the fifth of nine children born to Ollie and Julia Ann Whiteside. He was married to H. Anita Craig-Whiteside for 57 years. He was the father to four sons, one daughter, 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Pastor Whiteside will lie in state on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 9 a.m. at Greater Tucker Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
