Katie Jo Eggebrecht Wildman, 37, went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2022.

She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, and friend. She passed away from a rare form of cancer called phyllodes tumors after a four year battle.

She was born on August 20, 1985, in Saginaw, Mi., to the late Tom (Tracy) Eggebrecht and Joann (Lister) (Brian) Frederick. Katie grew up in St. Charles, Mi. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 2004. After graduation, she attended cosmetology school in Chattanooga. Katie was employed at The Peak salon in Signal Mountain. She loved her coworkers and clients.

In 2018, Katie met the love of her life, Matthew Wildman. They married in 2020. They enjoyed quality time together and making memories as a newly married couple.

She will be remembered for her sweet and kind heart, her beauty inside and out, and the love of her Savior.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Matthew, her mom, Joann and bonus dad, Brian, of Hemlock, Mi, her stepmom Tracy of Ne., her sisters, Shannon (Joseph) Rinckey of Tennessee, and Kristen (HR) Topham of Mi., in-laws, Fred and Annette Wildman, brothers-in-law, Chuck (Stacy) Wildman and Ben (Laura) Wildman, and dog Huck; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and special friends.

She was pre-deceased by her dad, Tom on Aug. 9, 2022, and grandparents, Joe and Donna Lister and Bill and Beatrice Eggebrecht.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 4-6 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 86 US-127, Signal Mountain, Tn. Funeral service will immediately follow. It will be live streamed at https://m.youtube.com/c/mountcarmelbaptistchurch and https://m.facebook.com/mountcarmelbaptisttn/
